Karo was truly a gift from God. While visiting a fellow breeder to pick up a himalayan kitten, the breeder asked us if we wanted a pure persian. At the time, I was focusing on my himalayan program. Then, I saw those eyes and I was hooked. We decided to take Karo to pursue a persian program.
Karo proved to be the most loving cat, greeting anyone who came into the house, and lapping up
as much affection as you would give her. She loved to rest on your head while you sat on the couch, and she would affectionate knead and cuddle with your hair.
Over the course of 2 years, we attempted to mate Karo. She never took. Finally, only after finding the best possible retirement home for my girl, I decided to fix Karo.
Karo died suddenly, and unexpectedly after her spay.  All those who knew Karo shed tears for her that day. I brought her home to lay to rest with us. We will miss you terribly 'ma petite Karo'.

While not a feline friend, god decided to take a second one of our beloved four-legged friends in one month. We are absolutely devastated with the loss of Sweet Pea, our 26 year old pony.
We will miss you old girl...
